Please do not re-register another account!

You are free to skip that date, and select some other days since we give you extra available days for you to choose.

It won't since the lesson is in the format of test preparation, and we have independent mock test each time. If is not new subject study, and it is a test by test review practice lesson.

We will provide you the mock test and class videos for that day's lesson. So you won't miss anything.

Give us a call, as long as it is within 10 days, we can try to change it for you manually. But the date modification can only be within the given range. We cannot do the extending change such as skipping dates for one month, for example change the date from 06/01 to 08/15.

No need for re-registration. But you still need to follow the above three steps.

Lesson Format

SAT lessons have two parts:

1) 3 hours mock tests in the morning with 4 sections: Reading, Writing, Math Section 1 and Math Section 2. The test starts at 9:00am, and it ends at 12:00pm.

It is on the student's own pace. But for each section, once the student click to start, the timer starts, and it will be forced to submit when the timer is out.

Once the student submits the tests, (s)he can see his (her) test results instantly, and our system will record the results such as the scores, and mistakes, and the report will be sent to the teachers automatically.

2) The live lesson starts in the afternoon: 2 hours English lessons (1:00pm to 3:00pm), and 2 hours Math lessons (3:00pm to 5:00pm).

The teachers will explain the test based on the report from the student's test results.

The teachers explain the problems with common problems first, then explain some questions with partial mistakes.

The teacher will give the detailed explanation for how to solve the specific problem, and at the time the teacher will review the related concepts, and sometimes give more examples related to the issues so that the students get better understanding of the type of questions and avoid the future mistake.

Since we have too many questions in the test which need to be addressed, so the teacher can only focus on the problems appearing in the tests, and then point out the related concepts, formulas. At the same time, the teachers try to enumerate some similar problems, examples.

We try to simulate the actual SAT test time. So it is a good idea for the students to take the test in the morning so that when they take the actual test, they get used to it.

If you feel it is too long, you can request the test is taken in earlier days such as Friday or Saturday or even earlier day, so that we can setup a mock test session ready for your child.

Yes. Based on our survey, actually the students feel much better online instead of in-person. The time is very important to high school students. So it saves lots of time for the students and parents for commuting. After we have this online SAT lesson, the students feel very comfortable to attend the lessons.

If the students don't have motivation to study, regardless of online or offline, they will get the same results.

Here's is some comparison.

In-person Lesson

Our Online Lesson

Easily communication with the teacher

Teacher can monitor the absent-minded student clearly

Students can view the presentation clearly

hard to make the font suitable

Students can present their work easily

No class order issues

teacher can share the related resources from computer easily

Parents can monitor the teachers and students if they will

Time saving for commute

Materials

We have our own practice materials. The student won't get old repeating materials for their tests. So it can measure their level properly, and also let them make progress gradually.

Yes. However some our practice problems are intention to be harder so that the potential problems the student have get exposed, and get resolved before the actual tests.

Lesson Length

We have 70 different practice lessons provided. Therefore you can register upto 70 lessons without getting repeating materials.

It depends on your child's foundation.

We don't have guarantee. However, based our results, every student will improve a lot from their own base.

Teachers

English teachers are the LA teacher from a private school, a teacher graduated from Harvard, a current Stanford student. Math teachers are Dr. Chen, a teacher graduated from Harvard, a teacher who was math Ph.D. from a US college, and who was the students from math department of University of Science and Technology of China.

Class Size

It is above 10 students, and it depends on seasons. However, we don't see any difference for online lessons. During the lesson, the teacher plays the main role, explains the problems, and teaches the students concepts and examples. The teacher may select the students to answer questions based on the test report, but that will be helpful to the whole class to understand the solution or understand the mistakes.

We try to do so. However, the SAT is a standard test, and everyone will take the same test. The students who enroll our program are overall the same level, so the lesson will not make the good students bored, and make the students with lower foundation get lost. We addresses the most common problems, so every student benefits from the lesson.

PSAT and SAT

No. Since PSAT is a simplified version of SAT, and the requirement for the test coverage is the same as SAT. It is just shorter than SAT, and it has less questions than SAT.

PSAT is a test registered by schools, and every student has to take it. SAT is a test registered by individual students, and everyone can take it in different time. Once you prepare well for SAT, you get ready for PSAT, and you don't need specifically prepare for PSAT.

We don't have specific ACT program. However since SAT is much harder than ACT and it covers the same topic and concepts, so once you prepared SAT, you can directly go to the test for ACT with your satisfactory score.
