Sitan Chen Won $40,000 Prize in 2011 Siemens Science Nation Competition
In December 1, the Siemens Science Competition National Finalists traveled to Washington, DC for the final competition. While in Washington, Finalists display and present their research to the public, explain their research to hundreds of visitors, many of them important figures in the government and science communities, promoting independent science research.
In the morning of December 5, the final winners have been announced. Sitan Chen gets the top three, and is awarded $40,000 scholarship for his outstanding science research.
Sitan was also the national top winner in last year's national Siemens competition. He is the only one who has become the Siemens national finalist two times in Siemens competition history since the beginning. Certainly he has made the history for Georgia.

Georgia Governor Nathan Deal With Alltop School Student
Alltop School student, Sitan Chen has been invited to the governor's office to take a picture with the governor, Nathan Deal, for his achievements in the Siemens National Math, Science and Technology competition On March 14, 2011. Sitan Chen is the national $20,000 Scholarship winner for the competition. He is the only student in Georgia who went to Washington DC for the Siemens national competition. The Governor award him a special commendation.
